Greet the early morning sun and proceed to Tiger Hill for a stunning sunset. The hill overlooks Kanchenjunga Peak and offers you not only a surreal sunset but also panoramic views around. Although, catching the sunset view is subject to clear weather. After watching the sunset, you return to Darjeeling. En route, explore attractions such as Ghoom Monastery, War Memorial and Batasia Loop.
Ghoom Monastery is one of the most sought after attractions of Darjeeling. It is believed to be among the oldest Gompas in this hill town. Almost 8 km from Darjeeling, the monastery is also known as Yogachoeling Gompa and houses several bells, ornate thanka scrolls, and drums.
From here, move to the War Memorial and Batasia Loop. Take a ride in the Darjeeling Himalayan Railway that takes you through Batasia Loop. The War Memorial was built in the memory of martyrs of wars after India’s freedom. It stands in proximity to Batasia Loop.
